Terms

The agreement between you and Noah: tickets, licences, the beta, and the way out.

Noah · Terms Updated 30 October 2026

Short, because there is not much to say: you pay for a browser that stays patched, and you can leave whenever you like.

These terms cover noahbrowser.com and the Noah browser ("Noah", "we"). By reserving a seat, buying a ticket or using Noah, you agree to them.

1. What Noah is

Noah is a browser for the Mac, built on Chromium, made to work the way Arc worked. It is independent and not affiliated with The Browser Company or Atlassian. "Arc" is their trademark and is used only to describe what Noah is compatible with. Noah includes open-source software, including Chromium, under the licences that come with it.

2. Reservations

A reservation is free and binds neither of us. It holds a founding-seat price for you until the beta opens; we then write to you with a way to pay. If you do not pay, the seat is released. We may cancel reservations that look automated or duplicated.

3. Tickets and prices

  • Noah is paid. There is no free tier. Prices are shown on the site in US dollars; taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
  • Monthly and Yearly tickets renew until you cancel. Lifetime is a single payment for as long as Noah is published.
  • Founding seats are the first 250 Yearly and Lifetime tickets, at 30% off. The founding price stays as long as the subscription stays active; let it lapse and the ordinary price applies when you return.
  • If we raise prices, your price does not change while you stay.
  • Purchases are made through a payment partner that acts as the seller of record; its terms apply to the payment itself.

4. Your licence

A ticket is attached to your Noah account and gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use Noah on the Macs you own, for the period you have paid for. Buy with the email you sign in with. Accounts are for one person: do not share yours, resell it, or work around the account check. When a Monthly or Yearly ticket lapses, the build you have keeps working; updates stop until you return.

5. Beta software

Until the public release, Noah is beta software. It will have bugs, and features may change between builds. Keep your data backed up; Noah's own export is one good way. Dates and features on the site are plans, written in good faith, not promises of delivery on a day.

6. Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time; your ticket runs to the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are described on the Refunds page, and that page is part of these terms.

7. If Noah ever stops

If we have to stop publishing Noah, you get at least six months' notice, a final signed build, and your data in open formats. This is the sunset pledge on the front page, and it is part of these terms.

8. What we ask of you

Use Noah lawfully. Do not attack, overload or probe our services beyond what is needed to report a security problem to us. Do not pass Noah off as your own or as The Browser Company's.

9. Warranties and liability

Noah is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated here, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited by agreement.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are emailed to people with a ticket or a reservation before they take effect.

11. Contact

hello@noahbrowser.com. A person reads it.
